Allison Christman is a UI/UX Digital Designer focused on the human factor. She loves to create something great and then improve it after usability testing. After serving as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, he began his career in IT working for a dotcom. His cloud journey started with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and his concentration from 2016 has been Microsoft Azure. Bryan Kail is an AIS Technical Project Manager with over 10 years of experience specializing in Microsoft technologies. As a Microsoft Certified Professional, Bryan is skilled in understanding complex business processes and applying the right technologies to the right problems. Since 2009 he has led efforts to design and implement SharePoint 2010 and custom ASP.NET applications, hosted both traditionally and in the cloud. Chris Hettinger is a technical professional with a vast background in many areas of computing ranging from electronics and hardware to administration and software development. He possesses approximately 20 years of experience in software development with 10 years of experience within the Microsoft .NET Framework. Chris is extremely versatile and can quickly get up-to-speed on the technologies required to meet customer needs. Chris Miller is a member of the Federal Practice management team leading our efforts in the US Department of Treasury and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Mr. Miller has over 15 years of consulting services experience in the Washington Metropolitan Area supporting both public and private sector organizations. Prior to joining AIS, Chris spent several years developing, managing and deploying web enabled applications for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff and the US Navy. He started his professional career by serving over 11 years as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force, and it was there that his passion for programming was born. While he originally "cut his teeth" on Classic ASP, he has lived on the .Net stack for more than a decade, with a primary focus on Web technologies. More recently, Darrin has taken a deep-dive into the SharePoint platform, serving as a developer on several projects for federal customers. David Green joined AIS-Raleigh in September of 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer. During his university years he set his mind on becoming a clinical psychologist, but after graduating realized he really loved programming more and redirected his attention to software development for the web. He appreciates programs that are cleanly and well architected with a preference for minimalism when it comes to front-end UI design and database architecture. His primary areas of interest are C#/MVC4 framework, iOS programming and NoSQL systems. Currently he is aspiring to be a Pluralsight author for NoSQL topics. Ian Cillay is a Senior Software Engineer for Applied Information Sciences in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. He built his first Web application as part of his Masters dissertation in 1996 and spent the next 11 years building large-scale Internet and intranet applications for numerous FTSE 100 corporations as a consultant/developer in London through the dotcom boom and bust. Having passed through Perl/CGI, Java, and classic ASP, he has adhered to the Microsoft ASP.NET stack for more than a decade and over the past two years rediscovered a passion for client-side JavaScript and also the promise of HTML5.

Jason Storch manages the Portals and Collaboration Practice for Applied Information Sciences. Since 2007, he has been designing internet/intranet portals and business productivity applications for AIS’ clients focusing on SharePoint, Sitecore and other Enterprise Content Management systems. Prior to coming to AIS, Jason was the Director of Software Development and Architecture of the e-commerce platform at Simplexity, one of the largest online retailers of mobile devices.

Jeff specializes in user adoption, business process analysis, development and troubleshooting for Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics environments. He enjoys meeting with clients who are new to a particular technology and opening the door to a better way of doing business. As a Certified Azure Cloud Solutions Architect, Jim designs, builds, and helps migrate our customers to the Cloud. With over 30 years of experience in the software development arena, Jim has developed shrink-wrapped software, designed and implemented relational databases, built systems on real-time operating systems, programmed robots, and built a wide variety of web sites and enterprise systems using the full spectrum of Microsoft development tools.

Jimmy Buczek joined AIS in 2018 working with the Managed Services Practice. He is an IT systems administrator with 20 years of experience specializing in windows server administration as well as VMware, Solaris, various patch management and backup software. Prior to working for AIS, he was the Lead Classified Server Administrator and oversaw AF's second largest data center where he maintained virtual and physical servers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, rooting for the San Antonio Spurs and managing his local volunteer comic-con organization.
John Blumenauer is a Senior Software Engineer with over 17 years of experience. Prior to joining AIS, he designed and developed applications of all sizes in a variety of industries including telecommunications, aerospace/defense, point-of-sale, engineering and financial. John has worked with a variety of languages and has contributed to projects of all sizes, including large scale enterprise applications. John graduated from George Mason University in 2001 and he has also worked for .com startup companies during the first bubble. Luis Gonzalez has been an AIS SharePoint Developer for 2 years. He brings broad ranging experience supporting Government clients over the last 14 years. Luis currently supports ICE and enjoys tackling challenges that a team has not previously performed. Matt is a Solutions Architect at AIS and has been with the company since 2000. During his time at AIS he has designed and built a large variety of business applications using Microsoft technologies that were applicable at the time. This includes many years focused on large SharePoint environments (2007, 2010, and 2013) including designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting those environments and the custom applications that they host. Matt has done this work across AIS' practices with commercial, nonprofit, and federal customers. Most recently Matt has been focused on Cloud Solutions Architecture on Microsoft Azure and has been working with customers to transition both new and existing application development to the cloud. Saurav Garg is Software Developer at AIS. He joined AIS in November 2020. He worked on migrating SharePoint 2010/2013 workflows to Power Automate Cloud Flows. His team was runner up for Internal Power Platform Hackathon and he is also certified Microsoft Azure Developer Associate.
Scott (MCITP, MCPD) is an Infrastructure Consultant with Applied Information Sciences. With over nine years of experience, Scott has been utilizing the .NET platform and various content management systems to develop and deploy solutions for clients. From MCMS 2002 to SharePoint 2013, Scott primarily focuses on collaboration and ECM solutions for clients.

Selvi is OCTO Solutions Architect and has been with Applied Information Sciences since 2007. She has worked on several different projects during her tenure in AIS for various federal organizations. She has done design, developing, configuring, deploying custom/complex solutions for clients using various technologies such as .NET solutions, SharePoint, Business Intelligence, and past few years heavily in Azure cloud migration efforts, deep dive into all Azure offerings, and currently she will focus more in DevSecOps initiatives/implementations with new clients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteer work, serving as President in a non-profit language school, and any cultural activities.
Senthilraj is a DevOps Manager at AIS India with over 19 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft technologies. He is TFS Certified and likes to explore latest trends on ALM. He has extensive expertise in a wide range of technologies and development methodologies. Prior to joining AIS, Senthilraj worked for Microsoft, Siemens and other Fortune 500 companies responsible for developing, delivering, deploying & supporting mission critical applications for business. Senthilraj has been able to mentor his team and recruit build engineers. He holds a Master’s degree in software systems from BITS, Pilani and a Bachelor’s from Bharathiar University.

With a deep knowledge in Data & AI and expertise in cutting-edge technologies. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. He has been consistently adding value to business-critical applications.
Souradeep joined AIS in May 2020 as a Software Developer. Since then he has worked on different projects as a DevOps Engineer, Software Developer , Web Developer. He has experience in working with Azure, Azure DevOps, SQL Databases, .NET Core. Angular, etc. Apart from work, Souradeep likes to explore new technologies in his free time and has a great interest in learning new things.
Stephen joined AIS in 2013 as a Principal Software Engineer, bringing with him over 24-years of progressive experience in all aspects of systems design, implementation and management. He has led and managed complex technical implementation projects for clients in various sectors and industries including banking, insurance, printing, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and national defense. For the past two years, Stephen has focused his efforts on development mobile applications on the Android, iOS, and Windows Phone platforms. He has a Master’s of Science in Information Systems from Roosevelt University, in Chicago as well as a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, Stephen has nearly 30-years of combined enlisted and officer service in the Army.
Steve is Front-end Software Engineer at Applied Information Sciences. He has practicing his craft for more than 7 years with technologies such as Angular, React, and Backbone. He has more recently been working full stack with Python and Java microservices.
Steve Michelotti is a Microsoft ASP.NET MVP and a contributing author for Pluralsight training. In addition, Steve is a frequent presenter at developer user groups and Code Camps along the East Coast and holds the MCSD, MCPD, and MCT certifications. Steve is an avid blogger (http:/geekswithblogs.net/michelotti), has contributed articles to Visual Studio Magazine, and his work on high performance web solutions was featured on Channel 9. Currently he is serving as an Architect/Developer for Applied Information Sciences (AIS) where he is leading a multi-year effort to modernize the business systems of a major insurance carrier. Previously he was the Chief Technologist at e.magination where he consulted with clients including Advertising.com/AOL where he was the Tech Lead for one of the highest volume .NET applications in the world.
Steven Suing is a practice manager for Applied Information Sciences and is responsible for overseeing the new North Carolina office. With over 12 years of experience, Steven has built an excellent record of delivering technical solutions for companies in a timely and efficient manner. Using his past experience and his business background, Steven has been able to mentor his team, recruit developers, and stimulate the growth of the fledgling North Carolina office. Steven is the Vice President of the Triangle .Net User group in Raleigh. He is heavily involved in the technical community and is passionate about the software industry and new technologies. Outside of AIS, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, especially doing outdoor activities and science experiments. He is a woodworker and competitive racquetball player.
Steven Walter is has over 15 years of information technology experience and has been and infrastructure consultant with Applied Information Sciences since 2009. Steven has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, a Master's degree in computer information systems, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. He provides engineering and support for production government systems and development environments.
Dr. Holliday is a versatile and seasoned leader and organizational change management consultant working at the intersection of people, technology, process, and results. She has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs and senior leaders on efforts such as enhancing performance outcomes, promoting stakeholder engagement, governance, process and service innovation. Her current focus is enterprise-level digital transformation such as through Azure, O365 GCCH, and DevOps.
Taylor Ivy is a DevOps Engineer with AIS. He has 8 years of industry experience with expertise in automation, cloud environments, infrastructure, and monitoring. He has worked as a software engineer, and a systems engineer for server, networking, security, and monitoring teams. Taylor is knowledgeable in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Linux, Windows, CI/CD, and more.
Terence Wiles is a Content Manager with more than 10 years of extensive writing and editing experience. He is now utilizing strategic brand management skills and marketing expertise to contribute to the success of AIS' marketing efforts by developing compelling content. Having worked in a wide array of creative roles, as well as the in the health and information technology sectors, he is extremely adept at integrating communication, marketing and public relations efforts to maximize brand awareness, recognition, constituent buy-in, sales and community mobilization.
Terra has been with AIS for almost 7 years. She began her career long ago as an accountant. She soon realized the accounting software she was working with was far more interesting than the numbers themselves. She went back to school to study database design and information technology. She has been working in the industry for the last 10 years, infinitely curious about everything and always open to learning something new.
Thimmarasu Lanka is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. He has been at AIS since April 2008 and has since been in multiple roles starting as Software Developer through Software Engineer, Module Leadd, Project Lead and Solution Specialist. Mr. Lanka loves to take up delivery and technical challenges solving mission-critical and time-critical business problems. Mr. Lanka is especially interested in solution designing and architecture towards a meaningful and longterm business benefit.
Tim Larson is originally from Atlanta, GA, but somehow he's been transplanted to Dayton, OH. During the day, he's proud to work with amazing developers at Applied Information Sciences. While he's getting more into JS/CSS/HTML, he's traditionally worked in the .Net world. There are so many new technologies, but there are just too few hours in a day... After work, Tim heads home to his amazing wife and two sons. His boys delight him to no end, especially when building with Legos or playing in the creek.
Tom is a Cloud Solution Architect at AIS with nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry. His work experience includes such varying topics as Automated Weather Observation, Phone Switch Management, Financial Software, Biometrics, Handwriting Analysis, Insurance, Document Management Systems and Global Scale Military Battle Simulations. He has designed and developed everything from tiny on-chip Smart Card software to Embedded Systems to progressive web apps up to large scale distributed systems deployed to Azure. He has also served as a technical reviewer on a handful of technical books covering topics such as the HTTP/2 protocol, Chatbot Development, Windows Store App Development, Silverlight, and Scratch. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Loyola University in Baltimore.
Tom is a member of the Board of Directors, Chief Strategy Officer and a Managing Partner. Tom provides executive-level consulting to our clients, mentors our Account Managers and Business Development personnel and supports our strategic account planning and management. Tom manages our strategic relationship with Microsoft at an executive level. Tom previously served as president, vice president of sales and marketing, vice president of corporate development and practice management.
Tony has spent 15 years working within the geospatial intelligence community as a Remote Sensing Data Scientist, an Air and Space Systems Engineer, and most recently as the Director of Special Programs at AIS. His research on hyperspectral phenomenology has been published in multiple Int’l Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) journals and presented at international proceedings such as the World Geospatial Forum and the GEOINT Symposium. Tony also earned top-prize for his research focused on enhancing commercial MSI data, winning the DigitalGlobe Worldview-2 8 Band Challenge. Today, his focus is architecting next-generation geospatial data processing methods to support tomorrow’s platforms and data.
Udaiveer Virk is a Cloud Engineer who has worked on multiple projects bringing customers to the cloud. He specializes in providing Azure API Management solutions to clients, and providing DevOps and Automation-based implementations. He is a member of the AIS Solutions Team as part of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer.

Vijay Petwal serves as a Business Analyst at AIS with over 12 years of experience in managing software development projects. Vijay acquired his MBA with a concentration in IT at GMU’s School of Management. Prior to working at AIS, Vijay worked at SRA International as a Configuration Manager and helped the company achieve CMMi Level 3 process improvement status. Vijay brings a wealth of experience in the areas of process improvement, configuration management, business analysis, requirements analysis, project management, testing, training and user support.
Vinita has been with AIS for almost 7 years developing SharePoint solutions. She is also interested in Windows 8 and mobile development. Prior to AIS she worked at VCU-VISSTA, where she developed people skills. She completed her MS in Computer Science from VCU and her B.E in Electronics and Communications from Bangalore University.
Vishal is a Data Architect at AIS with over eight years of experience in designing and implementing large scale data warehouses, and over four years of experience leading diverse and remote Agile teams. Vishal's work in the consulting domain prior to joining AIS spans various areas; the majority of which are the healthcare sector of managed care, medical devices & COTS products. Vishal has extensive expertise in the Microsoft Business Intelligence domain working with clients like CDC, Amerigroup, Medtronic Inc. & TeleTracking. Vishal received his Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Vishweswariah University, India and his Masters degree in Computer and Information Sciences from University of South Alabama. He is currently enrolled in the part-time MBA program at the University of Maryland majoring in Marketing & Strategy and is planning on graduating in Spring 2014. Vishal is also a Microsoft Certified IT Professional in SQL Server technology.
Vishwas Lele serves as Chief Technology Officer at Applied Information Sciences, Inc. Mr. Lele is responsible for assisting organizations in envisioning, designing, and implementing enterprise solutions. Mr. Lele brings close to 24 years of experience and thought leadership to his position, and has been at AIS for 18 years. A noted industry speaker and author, Mr. Lele serves as Microsoft Regional Director for the Washington, D.C. area and is a member of Windows Azure Insiders group. Additionally, Mr. Lele received an MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for Solution Architecture.
Warren Steger is a Principal Business Analyst as AIS with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Over the years, he has worked on projects in many different domains including spacecraft support systems, telecommunications, insurance, transportation, energy services, finance, and state and federal government. In his current role, he provides support to clients in developing and managing requirements for systems. He also helps clients adopt Agile software development practices. Throughout his career, he has also performed the role of project manager, solution architect, developer, tester, and support operations staff. Warren currently is a member of Microsoft’s Business Platform Technology Advisors group and a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Prior to joining AIS, Warren worked for CSC, Verizon, and Iridium LLC. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Washington and Jefferson College and his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
Weimin Hou joined AIS in 2018 as a User Experience (UX) Researcher. She has years of experience conducting user research and evaluation, functioning as a User Research Lead or Information Architect on numerous projects for government agencies, international organizations, institutions, and private companies. Weimin is proficient with various user-centered design methods and enjoys working with diverse users. Since joining AIS, she has also been working as a Business Analyst and Organizational Change Manager.
Will Miller joined AIS in 2010 as a Software Engineer. During his time at with the company he has worked on several projects, including a dashboard tool for a marketing agency and a cloud-based business-to-business web application for a well-known jewelry chain. His most recent project is a construction site inspection tool for Windows 8 tablets. Will holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Hood College.
William Shepherd joined AIS in 2012 after graduating from Trinity University with a B.S. in computer science. William is part of the San Antonio office and works as a software engineer. He has been working with ASP.NET and other web technologies for two years and is currently learning SharePoint.
Yared Tsegaye is a Solution Architect and Consultant at Applied Information Sciences. He has been with the company since 2007 and has been active in the industry for 18 years. During his time at AIS, Yared has worked on enterprise class solution development with a focus on .NET, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence. Most recently, he has been working as Integration Architect utilizing MuleSoft and RabbitMQ. Before joining AIS, Yared used to work for AT&T Government Solutions and Data-Basics, Inc.

Yash Gupta is a Software Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in full stack development & cloud operations. He has successfully developed & delivered web applications based on client/server technologies like .NET MVC, C#, ReactJS, Typescript, scripting using PowerShell & YAML, and worked with Azure REST APIs & MySQL/CosmosDB databases.
Yogesh Goswami is a Development Lead at AIS with more than 12 years of experience in the software development. His passion lies in the SQL Server Database and Microsoft BI technologies. Prior to joining AIS, Yogesh worked with Accenture, EMC2 and Microsoft; mostly on SQL DW and SQL BI projects. He has presented sessions on Azure SQL at Azure events. His credentials include being MCP since 2002 and having certifications in MCDBA, MCSD, MCTS SQL 2005, MCITP SQL BI 2008 and MCSA SQL 2012.
